Sand Filter
A sand filter is part of a water filtration system whose role is to remove suspended, floating and sinkable matter from water so it becomes safe for use. Water slowly sinks through the sand bed, leaving dirt particles trapped in the fine pores of the sand while filtered water flows out the other side.
Our sand filters include a multiport valve and an FRP vessel. A multiport valve has more than two ports and can offer 3-, 4- or 5-way control depending on the application, reducing the number of separate valves needed in an industrial process line.
FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) vessels are widely used across industrial and commercial water treatment systems for their durability, light weight, flexibility and strength — often preferred over stainless steel vessels for these reasons.
